Scope before sales
Know what you are buying.
Businesses with one high-friction workflow—quoting, booking qualification, intake, or request routing—that a static page cannot solve.
Not a fit: Multi-tenant SaaS platforms or products requiring complex role hierarchies and multiple connected modules from day one.
- What does this first release include?
- One focused custom web application workflow with validated inputs, clear user states, structured data capture, and one agreed handoff or integration. Deliverables: Workflow specification and acceptance criteria; Custom responsive UI with validation and state handling; Structured data storage or routed notification handoff; Launch QA, analytics events, and source handoff.
- When should we use existing software instead?
- Choose the $397 Custom Website tier if a clear service page and standard inquiry form are enough, or the $1,997 Full Stack SaaS tier if accounts and permissions are required.
- What determines the project price?
- Starting project price: $997. Logic branching, calculation rules, external API integrations, saved state requirements, and custom admin views. Final scope and price must be approved before implementation.
- What data and permissions are required?
- Confirm the exact decision rules, inputs, outputs, and follow-up owner before development starts. Any external API or CRM connection requires business-owned credentials.
- What can this service not promise?
- Starting price covers a single bounded workflow, not an open-ended software retainer or multi-department ERP replacement.
- Who owns the site and maintains it?
- Confirm source-code and design rights, third-party licenses, repository access, credentials, deployment, and handoff in the agreement. Use business-owned domain and vendor accounts where possible. Hosting, domains, paid tools, content changes, and ongoing support are separate responsibilities and recurring costs; no unlimited maintenance is implied.
Replacing an existing site or workflow?
Inventory current URLs, content rights, form destinations, vendor access, and data export options before choosing a redesign or migration. Agree the redirects, backup, validation, launch, and rollback plan first. No third-party platform support or data transfer is assumed until its access and export capabilities are reviewed.
